Redistricting Public Hearings in Central Florida July 25 -28

Ahead of the 2012 Legislative Session, the Florida House and Senate will hold approximately 30 public hearings across the state on the once-a-decade process of redistricting. Your input is critically important as we work to redraw legislative and congressional districts for the next decade. Hearings will be held from June 20 through September 1. Meetings will be held in the Central Florida region from July 25 – 28. Here is a list of those meetings:

July 25, Lakeland: Polk State College Main Auditorium; 3425 Winter Lake Road; 2 pm – 5 pm.
July 26, Wauchula: Hardee County Civic Center; 515 Civic Center Drive; 8 am – 11 am.
July 26, Wesley Chapel: Wiregrass Ranch High School Gym; 2909 Mansfield Blvd; 6 pm – 9 pm.
July 27, Orlando: Bob Car Performing Arts Center; 401 W Livingston Street; 2 pm – 4pm, 6 pm – 8 pm.
July 28, Melbourne: Brevard County Commission Chamber; 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way; 10 am – 1pm.
